Connecticut Friends School

Connecticut Friends Schoolvisual identity and printed materials

Situated on five wooded acres, Connecticut Friends School delivers a program focusing on outstanding academics, arts, and outdoor leadership opportunities, all guided by Quaker values. The visual identity was developed during a time of growth for the school—a post-transition from its early years of a home-schooling cooperative to a fully accredited independent K-8 school. To express this growth while representing stability and rootedness, the logo features a white oak (Connecticut’s state tree), often found as a symbol of strength and wisdom in various cultures and religions.
